The Smart Structure Systems (SSS) laboratory seeks to develop next-generation smart technologies for innovating the ways our civil systems are monitored, protected, and rehabilitated. These smart technologies are applicable, but not limited, to infrastructure/environment monitoring, system retrofit/rehabilitation, and full-scale experimental verification of numerical methods.
